Ingredients
- 4 apple
- 50cl of water
- 150g + 40g brown sugar
- 150g of flour
- 1 bag of yeast
- 10cl of milk
- 2cl of neutral oil
- 60g of butter
- 3 teaspoons of cardamom
- 4 eggs

Preparing
- Peel and cut the apples in half, remove the heart and seeds
- Boil 50cl of water
- Add 40g of brown sugar
- Add 3 teaspoons of cardamom
- Put this preparation off heat and plunge in the apples (then put it aside for later)
- Beat the 3 eggs with 150g of brown sugar and stir in 150g of flour
- Add a bag of yeast, 10cl of milk and 2cl of neutral oil to your preparation
- Butter your pan
- Sprinkle with brown sugar according to your tastes and the size of your mould
- Cut the apples (previously prepared in step 5) and place them at the bottom of your mould
- Pour in the dough afterwards
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 180°C
- After 20 to 25 minutes of baking, take your cake out of the oven
Don’t forget the little tip to check with the tip of a knife to see if your cake is cooked well 🙂
- Brush your cake with the cardamom apple syrup set aside in step 5) before turning it over
- Unmould cake like tatin
Let the cake cool a few minutes before serving with a good vanilla ice cream or salted butter caramel ( for the greedy ones )
